Every journey starts somewhere.

For 2DOPE, this one started on Deer Isle on April 17th, 2022.

After falling in love with DayZ on console, 2DOPE scraped his pennies together, built himself a PC, and stepped into the wild world of modded DayZ. Looking for adventure, interaction, and something different, he searched “PvE” in the launcher. After a short scroll, one name stood out.

The Exiled.

The name hit something in him. Then came Hardmode.

Logging in as a freshie into a world he did not fully understand, 2DOPE set out to explore, survive, and meet the people who made The Exiled what it was. After spending over a thousand hours in-game, he submitted his staff application and began a new chapter as an admin.

At first, admin work was interesting, fun, and full of things to learn. But the real adventure began when 2DOPE discovered what it truly meant to be an admin of The Exiled.

A few months later, he was promoted to Senior Admin. Around that time, he was introduced to a phrase that would become part of his identity:

Good Mood Food.

Something clicked.

Admin calls stopped being just about fixing a problem and moving on. They became moments to connect, laugh, play DayZ with the community, and make players feel at home. That heart and attitude carried him forward, leading to another promotion to Lead Admin, where he was entrusted with the very server that first brought him into The Exiled.

From there, 2DOPE continued to grow. As a Supervisor, he truly found his footing. With his feet firmly planted in the community, he decided to take another leap and step into the world of Exiled Radio.

Music had always been a passion for 2DOPE. From making mixtapes on cassette, to burning CDs, to collecting sounds from every corner of the musical world, his taste grew into something wide, colorful, and full of life. Industrial, pop, country, rock, heavy metal, rap, and underground music all shaped the sound that would eventually become his own.

With courage, passion, and love for the craft, 2DOPE launched his radio show on WXLD:

The Dope Show.

Or as the community came to know it…

The D to the O to the P E Show.

What started as a simple idea quickly became something much bigger. The show brought overwhelming joy, upbeat energy, and a unique way of speaking through sound waves that connected people across the globe. Knowing his voice and music were reaching players around the world was both mind-blowing and heartwarming.

So he kept going.

He kept learning. He kept producing. He kept improving.

And through that long road, the Duke of Deer Isle, Mr. Good Mood Food, the Sonic Commander of The D to the O to the P E Show, created something that truly resonates with The Exiled Gaming Community.

After everything he has learned and everything he has built, 2DOPE still carries the spirit of that freshie from long ago.
