Exiled Supervisor
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and was a true band geek throughout high school. After graduation, I attended college for a couple of years before finishing my Associate's Degree at community college. It didn't take me long to realize that school just wasn't for me.
I was adopted as an infant, and because of the opportunities and love I was given growing up, I always knew I wanted to give another child that same chance. When I was older, I adopted my daughter when she was 13 years old. Today, she's 39 and has blessed me with two amazing grandsons.
Outside of gaming, I love to camp—or I guess maybe it’s more glamping—and I even go out hunting.
My gaming journey goes all the way back to playing Pong on a black-and-white television. Later, I spent time at my cousin's house playing on a Commodore 64, flying around in an early flight simulator and trying out games that I can barely remember now—maybe Zelda, maybe not! I wasn't much of a console gamer growing up, though I eventually played classics like Mario, Sonic, and Donkey Kong as an adult.
The first MMO that truly captured my attention was Vanguard. I played from nearly launch day all the way until the servers shut down. More importantly, Vanguard is where I met my husband, so now I live in New Hampshire.
After Vanguard, we both moved on to Final Fantasy XIV. Eventually, my husband started playing DayZ. My reaction? "Killing zombies is so dumb! I'd never play that game."
Well... 10,288 hours later, here I am.
I joined The Exiled on August 16, 2024, alongside Twisted and Copious. From the moment we arrived, we felt something special. We immediately sensed the strong community bond and knew this was a place where we wanted to belong. We talked about it often and agreed that this was the kind of community we wanted to invest our time in.
Today, I am a Supervisor, and I’m still here because of the people and friendships I’ve built along the way. The Exiled isn't just a gaming community - it's a place I’m proud to call home.
