Exiled Chief Of Staff/Exiled DJ
For a long time, I didn’t really have a gaming community that felt like home. I’ve never been the loudest person in the room and honestly, I was usually the quiet wallflower hanging around in the background. But I always loved having people to game with and spend time around.
Then I found Exiled… and never really looked back.
There was just something different here. Even when I stayed quiet, people made me feel included. Like I belonged at the party whether I realized it or not.
Over time, this community slowly pulled me out of my shell. One of our DJs asked me to help with a radio show and encouraged me to let my voice actually be heard. I was nervous, but I figured… why not? What’s the worst that could happen?
Turns out, I loved it.
From radio shows to karaoke nights to community events, every step pulled me a little closer to the people here and helped break down walls I’d built around myself a long time ago.
And somewhere along the way, Exiled stopped feeling like just a gaming community and started feeling like home.
Now, my goal is to help create that same possibility for others.
A place where people can find their voice. A place where they can feel like they belong. A place that feels like home, just like Exiled became for me.
That’s what I try to put into my work here as a Supervisor, but it’s also what I pour into my radio show, The Sound Storm.
There’s a line from a song I played recently that hit me harder than I expected: “Let the storm speak for me.”
In a lot of ways, that’s exactly what the show became for me. Most people probably don’t realize how much of my soul is woven into those nights on the radio.. the music, the stories, the atmosphere.. but it is.
So if there’s one thing I hope people feel when they come here, whether it’s through the community or tuning into Sound Storm, it’s this:
Don’t be afraid to speak up.
Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
You’ve found your home.
