DJ TruNME,

was raised in the North West of the UK, shaped by strong Irish family roots and a deep connection to music from an early age. As a child, he spent countless hours recording homemade radio shows onto tape decks, developing a passion for sound, storytelling, and the art of entertaining long before stepping behind the decks professionally.
Since discovering hip hop in 1997, TruNME immersed himself in the culture, studying its origins, lyrical traditions, DJ foundations, and the powerful social messages that built the movement. His love for the genre spans every era and style, inspired heavily by legendary artists such as Wu-Tang Clan, N.W.A, Rakim, and Eminem, while continuing to appreciate all corners of hip hop culture.
For TruNME, writing rap lyrics became more than creativity — it became therapy. Through lyricism, he found a way to channel emotion, life experiences, and personal growth into music, using words as both expression and release.
In 2024, DJ TruNME joined the Exiled community, bringing his passion for music and hip hop culture into a new creative space. By 2025, he officially became a DJ with Lyrical Revolution, helping build a platform dedicated to real hip hop energy, lyrical skill, and authentic culture.
